2.    Tools and Test Equipment Required

The TCA application will be available from a internet connected PC with a minimum of 128M RAM, 800Mhz P4 compatible computer with MS windows 2000 or above, 10G hard disk free space.

3.    Test Configuration

The TCA application will be tested as if it were in production.  Testing should be conducted in such a way as to assume the test environment is compatible with the production environment.

3.1    Test Preparation

The TCA software should be installed on the test platform and fully operational according to the Software Installation Plan.

TCA:VTP:2 The tester will enter 23 in the temperature value field and then press the TAB key. Then use the mouse pointer to select “Celsius” temperature scale and the press the TAB key.  The tester will then press the ENTER key.

The system will convert the Celsius temperature value to Fahrenheit value 73.4 F in the result fields.

TCA:VTP:3 The tester will enter 95 in the temperature value field and then press the TAB key. Then use the mouse pointer to select “Fahrenheit” temperature scale and the press the TAB key.  The tester will then press the ENTER key.

The system will convert the Celsius temperature value to Fahrenheit value 35 C in the result fields.

TCA:VTP:4 The tester will select the “Celsius” temperature scale with the mouse pointer the press the TAB key.

The system will deselect the Celsius radio button and deselect the Fahrenheit radio button.

TCA:VTP:5 The tester change the display scale on the test computer desktop to 800x600 followed by making the browser full screen.

The page will scale to the proper size with no loss of displayed data.
