The successful candidate will have demonstrated technology consulting experience in the engineering design, development, operations and administration of information security for information technology engagements in the following areas:

	Information security/assurance of server and network assets.
	Design, development, integration, testing and operation of secure network platforms and environments.
	Ability to anticipate problems and mitigate risk through planning and process.
	Entrepreneurial approach to solving difficult technical and organizational process problems.
	Training and certifications in information security / information assurance / cyber security technology disciplines.
	Knowledge of DITSCAP/DICAP certification and accreditation (C&A) practices to support C&A efforts.

Position Qualifications Required:

	BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math or Engineering plus 6+ years of experience -OR- one of the certifications listed below with experience.
	Certifications in either CISSP, CISA, or CISM or willing to acquire on of them within 6 months of obtaining the position.
	Experience with Solaris and Windows operating system.
	In depth experience with Information System Security (ISS), PKI, firewalls, intrusion detection/protection and related vulnerability assessment tools for network periphery and internal network/service discovery.
	Must have strong incident handling experience including knowledge of common probing and attack methods, network/service discovery, system auditing, viruses, and worms.
	Must demonstrate self-motivation with a strong ability to work in a multi-tasking, changing environment.
	Strong technical design and communication skills (with the team and the client)
	Must have excellent communication skills.
	Willing to work at the client's location in Yorktown, VA.
	Must be able to start IMMEDIATELY.

Position Qualifications Preferred/Desirable:

	Residence in the Virginia Peninsula area.
	Active, participating member of information security associations (e.g. ISACA)
	Software development experience and certifications
	Sun Solaris 10 System Administration certification
	Familiarity with Oracle products such as Database, Application server, and OID server
