SES Government Contracts

Software Engineering Services, Inc (SESI) experience has been primarily with the Department of Defense and the State of Virginia. We are used to a dynamically changing environment and excel under pressures to deliver on time.

SESI has delivered time critical projects to the Naval Sea Systems Command for billing foreign governments for shipyard work performed by U.S. Government agencies. This system interfaced with the DOD STARSHQ financial system and the Navy’s Standard Labor Data Collection and Distribution Application.

SESI has delivered a secure data distribution system for distributed system configuration and data interface files. The system handled multiple financial system inputs and outputs as well as customer system generated interface files. The system use certificate based encryption techniques to ensure data integrity over public networks.

The owner of SESI is a pioneer in the development of project management software. He developed the first automated planning and control system for the USS Carl Vinson Pre-Commission Unit at the Newport News Shipyard. Through the leadership of the Pre-Com commanding officer and the use of this software the ship was delivered ahead of schedule. The key to success was a top down approach to the process and a bottom up support of the requirements.

Current Contracts

SLDCADA (Standard Labor Data Collection And Distribution Application

This is a time and attendance system used by the Department of the Navy to track military, civilian and contractor labor hours against job order numbers for financial and pay purposes. SESI provides senior software engineer support and system administration. SESI is subcontract to Computer Science Corporation.

CAIMS (Conventional Ammunition Integrated Management System)

This system provides worldwide status and visibility of the Department of the Navy's conventional ammunition. SESI provides computer operator support and educational training services thru the Atlantic Ordinance Command reserve component. SESI is subcontract to Computer Science Corporation.

GSA MOBIS (Management Organizational & Business Improvement Services)

Under this schedule, SESI is capable of providing expert advice, assistance, guidance or counseling in support of management, organizational and business improvement efforts. SESI has teamed with K.W. Tunnell.
